Please tell us something about history of the hotel and interesting facts:
Hotel Hilton La Romana just went through big renovation. Before renovation this was another brand, Hotel Dreams La Romana and Playa Resorts spent over 60 million dollars renovating both hotels, familly and adult side of hotel. Renovation was completed in November 2019 but just after couple of months we had to close our Hotel because covid pandemic in 2020. Now, finally Hotel is open again and we are very satisfied with occupancy. People love the hotel and on Trip advisore we are the number one and number two hotels in La Romana and if we are speaking about ranking with the other Hilton hotels worldwide we are on 10th best position.
Tell us something more about services and all the amenities of the hotel:
We have two hotels connected with eachother, one having 418 rooms and other 356 and in total over than 700 rooms with different categories such as swim out, garden view, butler rooms. We have premium club in both hotels for guest that wants VIP treatment and for various guest with different expactions of their holiday. We go for the high end customers providing the best service and our guests can use Hilton reservation system. Hilton members can benefith with our all-inclusive hotels. We are also having another all inclusive hotels in Mexico and one in Jamaica.
Which nationalities are the most freaquent guests in Hilton la Romana:
Now, because the situation with covid pandemic, American market is producing the most of the guests in our Hotel but we are wery greatefull that we also have European guests coming, and also new markets such are Russian, Polish, Ukranian markets. We also have tourists from Turkey and there is direct flight from Turkey as well. Majority of tourists coming from America or Europe to Dominican Republic wants to visit Punta Cana but I am recommending our hotel because we are set directly to Carebbean sea. Punta Cana is on the ocean and we are on beautifull Carebbean coast with calm sea and with the best climate in Carebbean. We are also wery close to interesting destinations that our guests can visit on day trips. From our shore you can visit beautifull nearby islands but also other attractions in Dominicana.
Covid pandemic hit the tourism so much, how you are dealing with it:
Hilton la Romana follows 3 safety protocols, one is our own Hilton protocol and that is clean stay with a list to do from beginning of chek in to hotel our guests have to follow those regulations about in which places you have to wear a mask, rooms are sealed before guests arrives, staff is serving our guests on buffets and many other protocols. Than we have Playa resorts protocols and in the end we are following our Governments protocols. I can say that our guests are absolutely safe in our hotel, safer even then in their houses. We are proud how we are managing this situation.
